Change Orders offer a way for vendors to present additional funds to the client for approval. They are to be used after an estimate had been accepted and it is found that completion of an opportunity will exceed the approved dollar amount.
To submit a Change Order:
- Navigate to your Dashboard tab located in the left column. Locate the desired opportunity and click on Take Action to see further detail. Please note, a Change Order can only be submitted if an opportunity is in the Scheduled Status.
- You will see a section labeled Estimate Details. Expanded your accepted estimate and locate the Action drop-down. Select Submit a Change Order
- This will prompt you to edit your existing estimate. Make the necessary edits, update your Terms & Conditions, and Submit.
- The Change Order will be sent to the client pending review. Once approved you will receive a notification outlining the newly approved pricing.
IMPORTANT: A Change Order replaces the original estimate. Please make sure to account for any incurred work under the original estimate as part of the submitted Change Order.
